Five history questions a day. Every answer is a date. Get as close as you can.

    Read the questionBattles, treaties, voyages, inventions and great performances from 1600 to today.

    Travel through timePinch or scroll to zoom from centuries down to days. Swipe or drag to move along the timeline. Zoomed out, your pin picks a year; zoom in to pick an exact day.
  3. 3
    Tap, then lock it inTap the timeline to plant your flag and move it as much as you like, then press Lock in answer. In a hurry? Double-tap to lock it in straight away.

Scoring

Up to 200 per question

  • Off the mapMore than 25 years

Up to 150 points for the right part of history: about 120 at 5 years out, 80 at 10 and nothing past 50. Pick an exact day and land close for up to 50 bonus points.

Everyone gets the same five questions. One go per day, and a new game drops at midnight Pacific time (3 am Eastern).
